Work of Art

For a morning activity, Josh and I "drew" pictures at the table. He had a blast. He kept dropping the crayons on the floor and saying, "uh-oh!"...a fun little game. When we were finished, I thought I had picked up all the crayons. Nope! I missed one. Josh, my little scrounge, found it. When I was finished with the computer, I turned around and saw Josh's 1st masterpiece. I tried to discipline him by saying that we don't write on the walls with crayon (with a sad, disappointed look on my face). His reaction: He smiled and kissed his drawing on the wall. I had no choice but to laugh. Anyway, I must've spent way too much time on the computer because I also found crayon on the floor, the family picture, the mirror in our bedroom, and the side table. We have entered toddlerhood!

He looks guilty here, doesn't he?

Kim, The furniture in our house is strategically placed to cover up Austin's name written all over our walls. My mom still tells the story of me taking crayons to our stairwell (and that was 30 years ago). I guess this is just a phase. Good for you for taking pictures and having a good attitude about it.

Your blog is so cute. Greg pointed out the "poop" entry last night (I guess I missed that one). It's true - almost all blowouts happen out of the home. I have cut many a onesie off my kids in the bathroom at Walmart and purchased brand new clothes while we're out. Just to warn you - it gets worse during potty training time. It's like the kids have poop radar.

You are such a cute and dedicated mom. You have the best attitude - always such a big smile on your face. It looks like you are having a blast with little Josh.
