Tennis Returns!

Ryan & I have started up tennis again. We've been getting friends to watch Josh (or sometimes we take him with us). Wow! I have really missed this game. We have 3 different sets of friends that we're playing with. We meet on Mondays with everyone and we play doubles---girls against girls and guys against guys. Friday afternoons all the gals meet and play. And once or twice a week I go with a buddy in the morning and play while the kids run around the court saying, "ball, ball, ball!" It is so much fun. I wish I would've started playing when I was younger. But one thing I've learned is that you're never too old to start anything you're interested in.

I remember when I was in Jr. High (7th grade) and I sat next to a boy name Chris Wood in my English class. (That's right, Jill!) He was telling me all about his snow skiing weekend up at Brighton. I asked when he started and he was 5. I thought to myself, "Oh, I am too old to learn how to ski, I'll look like a fool!" I was only 12 years old! So, I didn't learn. I still regret this. So that's why I am trying things now, even if I am old and look like a fool.

Way to keep up the tennis skills, Kim and Ryan! Kristl and I have only gotten out once since we have been in Utah. Looks like we will get knocked around the court by you guys if we ever get the old tennis gang back together. (btw, can you imagine a tennis gang? - Oh Buffy, what do you say we hit the country club for a set or two after we finish popping a cap in this homey?)

Ryan and I are still the worst on the court (we are playing people who played in High School...ahhh!) But we really enjoy it.

Rich, you crack me up---you even got Ryan to laugh outloud with that one...
