Josh has had a tough weekend. I won't go into details, but use your imagination when I tell you that he missed 3 doses of Milk of Magnesia while we were in Roanoke. He also threw up in the middle of the night. Poor little guy.
He has also been having major meltdowns this week. We don't know if it has to do with him being "almost in the terrible two phase" or if he's blowing off steam from his tough week. Either way, Ryan left me on Saturday morning to go to the gym, with a screaming monster. Josh honestly screamed and cried uncontrollably for at least 30 minutes. I didn't know what to do. I tried ignoring the tantrum, holding him, reading books. Nothing worked. I finally left him in his room while I called a friend for advice. Apparently he decided to climb over his rocking chair and fell off the back and hit his melon on the metal bar. I heard a big bump and ran into the room. I picked him up and I saw a goose egg protruding from his forehead. I freaked out! I called my friend, Desiree, and she came running over to help me. She was all I needed to calm down and tell me he's alright. And her daughter, Natalie, was all Josh needed to start giggling and laughing again. Oh, if this is only the beginning of the terrible two's, I'm in big trouble! But, they're either completely adorable and melting your heart, or you're about to ring their necks. :) Either way, he's still my favorite.

OH, I hate things like that! Josh and Abby could be the head bump twins this week.
Have I seen my share of those things!? Not fun, I know. Hang in there. If you have only had one 1/2 hour tantrum to experience you are supermom! I must be doing things all wrong.
I hate it when my kids get those giant gooseggs. Looks like he's a normal little toddler.
