I don't feel 30. In fact, someone asked me in my ward how old I was the other day and I said "29...oh wait! I'm 30!" in my shockingly suprised voice. She said she guessed that I was 28 and I didn't know whether to be offended or complimented. It's such a weird feeling when I still feel 24 inside.
Anyway, my birthday was great. It was 3 weeks ago (I know...I am REALLY behind on blogging), but a great day altogether. Ryan fixed me breakfast...waffles, eggs, and OJ. We went swimming in our pool, and went out to Mimi's Cafe for dinner. Oh, I love Mimi's. If you've never been there before, you should definitely check it out. Ryan made me my favorite cake by scratch which is lemon poppyseed bundt cake. He's such a sweetheart!
As I mentioned before, I got a new bedspread and throw pillows. I love my gift. It was a great day being waited on hand and foot by my 2 boys. Joshy said, "Happy Birthday, Mommy!" over and over again for about 3 days straight. I am a lucky, lucky girl.

Happy Birthday! I didn't know we were so close in age. I know what you mean, though, about forgetting your age. At least you say "29," I used to say "24" all the time. I think it helps me to have an older husband. By the time I reached 30, Greg was sooooo experienced in the 30s that it wasn't a big deal. :)
It sounds like you had a great day!
Happy Birthday! We love Mimi's too.
Where does the time go? For years I was convinced that I was 21. Happy Birthday!
Welcome to the 30s. We're so glad you joined us. It's not that bad, I promise!
