F.Y.I.

I'm being induced tonight at 8:30 pm for delivery. Here's the short story: When I went in for the baby's sono this morning, he has dropped in the 23% for growth. He's around 5 pounds, 12 ounces (as far as they can tell). Overall he is still doing well, but with my blood pressure continually rising (but not yet pre-eclamptic) and my blood platelet count at a reasonable level (for an epideral), they think the baby is at it's peak. Since the baby is considered "full-term" at 37+ weeks, my doctor doesn't see a point to waiting this out in case something goes wrong. I agree. So does Ryan. So, I'm packing my bags and getting last minute things done....

Thankfully I have a wonderful friend taking Joshua for me tonight and tomorrow. Ryan's mom is coming up the remainder of the weekend and the beginning of next week. Following that will be my mom for a week, then my sister for the next. Josh will be in heaven with all the relatives!!!

Please keep us in your prayers for a smooth and safe delivery. We are excited to meet our baby Nathan! It's been a long 9 months.......
