My Big Sister

My sister, Mindy, came down to Tucson to help me out for 5 days. We had so much fun together. We stayed up at night talking for hours and would laugh and laugh. It was great to have this bonding experience with her since I don't get to see her very often.
We went to Mt. Lemmon (which is now my most favorite place here) one evening and went on the shortest hike I've ever been on. It was perfect since it was getting dark. There were puddles that Joshua could splash in and cactus everywhere where Joshua could poke himself.
We also went to Sabino Canyon. My sister (who is a marathon runner and amazing athlete) would run up there everyday and take Josh with her in the jogging stroller. She found a few great places that Ryan and I have to check out!
We went out to dinner a few times and her favorite place was El Taco Tote. It's cheap and pretty good. If you live in Tucson, you've got to check it out! It's right by our church and they've just re-opened it.
She also took Josh swimming, babysat the kids so that Ryan and I could go out on a date, and became Josh's new best friend. Nathan adored her as well (who could resist?)
I already miss her and am excited for her to come out and visit again! She said probably February...I hope so!

I think that restaurant is where they have live bands on Friday nights. If not that one, it's a mexican one that's really close. We ought to go check it out sometime!

It's so nice to have visitors-especially sisters! Hey, speaking of prickly pear cactus', when I was young I would visit my aunt and uncle in St. George and we would make cactus jelly using the prickly pear fruit-it was really good!

I'm glad you got to go to all those places even after having a new baby. You're a trooper.
