6 Year Anniversary!

Our anniversary was on November 8th. Our #6. Ryan's parents were in town, so we were able to have free babysitters that evening as we went to dinner at North, walked around, got Cold Stone ice cream, and rented a video. It was a wonderful evening.

A lot has happened in the 6 years that we've been together:

We've moved 4 times while we lived in Utah (in 1 1/2 years)

We've moved 2 times while in Virginia (4 years)

and once when we moved to Arizona (6 months and counting)

That equals 7 moves in 6 years!

We bought our first townhouse, lived in it for 9 months, then rented it out for 2 years.

We got pregnant 9 months after we were married.

We lost that baby due to a placenta abruption. :(

So... we bought a dog, Gracie.

Then...we bought another dog to keep that dog company, Toby.

2 weeks later we got accepted into medical school at the University of Virginia (Go Hoos!)

Our sweet Josh was born 1 1/2 years into medical school.

We gave our 2 dogs away. :(

We survived medical school after 4 long years.

We got accepted into the residency program at the University of Arizona.

Our precious Nathan was born 4 months after we moved.

We've driven across the nation 3 times. Long drive, not recommended in the dead of heat when gas prices are at it's peak. (Well, I've only done it twice).

We've taken trips to the Caribbean, Seattle, Las Vegas, Moab, South Carolina (Myrtle Beach), Virginia, Colorado, Pennsylvania, D.C./Maryland, Atlantic City, and of course Utah.

We've watched a ton of movies, been rollerblading buddies, hiked many mountains, over-eated, worked out, gone on diets together, and have laughed our hearts out.
