Christmas 2008!

For Christmas this year, my parents came down to celebrate with us. We had such a wonderful time. The evening they arrived, we took a hayride through Winter Haven. It's a neighborhood that creatively decorates their houses with Christmas lights and themes. They are even judged. It was so beautiful, creative, and a lot of fun!

The next day, it was super cold. Our plans were foiled and we ended up cooking for the Christmas Eve meal and then shopping at the La Encantana Mall. It is an upscale shopping area. We browsed and got hot cocoa at AJ's. It actually snowed! Real snow! It didn't stick but the air was cold enough for it to fall. My parents weren't impressed. But me? I thought it was awesome to see snow in Tucson on Christmas Eve!

We had a turkey feast for dinner! It was like Thanksgiving all over again. Yum. We watched "The Grinch", sang Christmas carols, read "The Night Before Christmas", and sent Joshy off to bed with Sugar Plums dancing in his head.

Christmas morning Joshy slept in until 8:00! We had fun opening all our presents and stockings from Santa Claus & other family.

Favorite Gifts:
Ryan- ipod (bought this with the cold hard cash I gave him) & the coupon book made by me!
Kim- Adobe Photoshop Elements & "Lips" game for XBOX 360 (it's karaoke)
Josh- probably his $1 slinky. He also really likes the huge map from G & G Porter and the Leap Frog letter magnets from G & G Nance
Nathan- Johnny Jumper
(The huge map! It comes with a bunch of velcro names/animals/vehicles...etc to put on it.)

(The game from Jason & Julie...we laughed so hard playing this! Thanks again!)

We hope everyone had as Merry a Christmas as we did!

P.S. Ryan was actually there, but for some reason, he didn't get in any of the pictures...
