The Magical Age of 6 months!

I know I am almost 3 weeks late at this, but better late than never!

Aaaaaah, the magical age of 6 months. 6-9 months is definitely my most favorite age of all times. They are starting to do things on their own, but they are not defiant or making messes yet. And boy are they ever happy. They smile, laugh, and make you feel like the most important person on the planet. 6 months old sure love whoever is giving them attention. It's my favorite.

stats: 16 pounds, 14 ounces. (50%)...however he now weighs 17.5 pounds.
height: ??? Sorry, it didn't get recorded! (I do remember it was 50%)

Milestones!!! So many milestones!! Holding his own bottle, sitting up by himself, single constanant sounds (ga, da, ba), raspberries noises (these are my favorite!), bouncing when being held upright, rolling over from front to back, enjoys peek-a-boo, and is eating solid foods very well!

And do you know what he's been doing for the past 2 days? Getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth! He is working pretty darn hard at crawling. He plows his face down and tries to crawl forward. He scoots around in circles. It's so cute.

I know I say this a lot, but he's such a blessing. I love Nathan. I love the age he is right now. I love that he sleeps 12 hours straight every night and he is on a pretty regular schedule with eating and naps. I feel lucky that he hardly complains/cries and just accepts. Lucky, lucky me.

Yeah for holding their own bottle!!! All those wonderful milestones come at the perfect time. Right before mommies loose their minds :)

I'm with you on the magic of 6 months. I really do love having a newborn. There is nothing like the snuggle of a sweet, new baby. But, when they turn 6 months, I start to feel like I can survive as a "normal" person again. Sitting up just makes them happier, and holding their own bottle and sleeping on a schedule definitely makes me happier. Ahhh....Enjoy this time!
