weight: 20 pounds, 4 ounces (50%)
height: 28 inches (25-50%)
He is quite a bit shorter than Joshy was at his age, and weighs more. Joshy was always in the 90% for height and 25% for weight. They are very different. I love both of them immensely.
Nathan's milestones for the past month or so:
playing peek-a-boo
babbles a lot more and makes initial sounds
pulls to a stand
starting to walk around holding on to furniture (cruising)
claps hands
waves bye-bye
drinks from a cup
Nathan is still a very good, independent baby. This is good since Joshy is pretty needy right now. When he does want something, he will find a way to get it himself OR will say "na-na-na-na" over and over until I give him what he wants. He especially does this when he runs out of Cheerios or wants to get down. He loves to cuddle and does not like his formula very much (who can blame him when his mommy's milk was so tasty!) He does not like to sit still for books and is only interested in them when he can flip the pages back and forth. He is a very light sleeper, although he still sleeps about 12 hours at night and takes a 2 hour morning nap and a 1 hour afternoon nap. He now has 4 teeth. He loves to eat, but is not very fond of vegetables. He loves his brother, but does not like it when he puts blankets and pillows on top of him and tries to wrestle. They laugh a lot together, especially when Nate is tired and gets super silly. His newest nickname is "Little Blondy".
