The other week when I was riding up Sabino Canyon, I felt a flutter around my ankles. I tried to brush it off thinking it was a very annoying bird. But it would NOT leave me alone! I was pretty freaked out wondering why this bird was pestering me on my way up to the top of Sabino Canyon. Come to find out, when I made it to the top, my friend Carol asked me why there was a BAT going in and out of my spokes. WHAT?!? A BAT? So disgusting and frightening! I'm so glad that I thought it was just a bird. The bat finally flew away when I rested. But now I am a lot more conscious when I ride my bike. Especially when I am almost near the top. Who knew I would come so close to getting rabies from a bat in Arizona. Ugh.

I swear I already commented on this... but it looks like it's not here. So, anyways, i'm proud of you guys for still biking up Sabino, and I'm totally freaked out by bats. They're always swooping and freaking me out. yuck
