We went up to Storm Mountain (Big Cottonwood Canyon) and roasted hotdogs, and ate dinner. It was so much fun! It was one of my favorite activities that we did while we were in Utah. I don't know what it is about being up in the mountains, but it is so relaxing to me. After we ate, we went on a little hike and found a park that Joshy enjoyed playing on. We also went over to a bridge where my dad and Josh enjoyed throwing rocks into the water. Simple pleasures. We were going to roast marshmellows, but my dad brought up some Hostess cupcakes that we enjoyed instead. Who can resist Hostess snacks? Mmmmm...my favorite.

The kids and I saw this and were jealous! We wish we could have been there. Camping (or even just going for the day) in the west is sooo much more appealing than here in the east. Katelyn said, "there's the cinderella chair that I used when I was there." Sounds like you created memories that will last forever!
