Gila Valley Open House & The THING

Going to the Gila Valley Temple open house was fun. It's a very small temple, but it's beautiful inside. The chandelier was unbelievable. I will never forget it. Joshy really enjoyed being inside the temple, as well. I'm glad we got to share that experience with him.

On the way home, we kept seeing billboard signs about "The Thing". So we stopped off at the Dairy Queen/gas station/souvenier shop/The Thing and got a bite to eat. After we decided to pay the $2.00 and go see what all the excitement was about.

Check out the last picture if you want to know what it was. Kinda creepy, I think. But I bought a magnet made from rock that says, "The Thing" which is pretty cool.

Isn't that the most beautiful chandelier you've ever seen?!

Good to know what The Thing is. We drive by there every year and have never stopped. My curiosity has been quenched :)

So, is it a man? I guess I still don't know what "The Thing" is. Sounds like fun though! :)
