Joshy Bo-loshy

If you hadn't heard, Joshy got pneumonia last week. It started out as a cold and then last weekend (why is it always on the weekends, at nighttime?) his temp spiked up to 104! That is soooo hot. Ry took him to Urgent Care and that was his diagnosis. Poor kid was dehydrated and had to have an IV to put some water and antibiotics in him along with taking some blood out for cultures. And since he was dehydrated, he couldn't make himself "go" in the cup and so they had to stick in a catheder for a urine sample. I'm glad Ry took him in that night. He's now on amoxicillan and feels great! Meds do wonders.
Is it possible that this is why my child is so hyper? Lollipop and chocolate chip cookies back-to-back?
Bath time is fun time...as long as I promise not to wash his hair...

The true stinker-pot picure. He only makes this face when he's about to throw a tissy-fit. Oh, I love the terrible two's. Will he magically turn into an angel on his 3rd birthday? We sure hope so!

I am so sorry he was so sick. He is still one of my favorite little men.

Sorry to tell you, but I think 3 (and even 4) is much worse than 2. I like to call 3/4-year-olds "Little Negotiators." They think everything is up for discussion. Maybe Josh will grow out of it by then. Josh is adorable. Sorry about the sickness. I think I cried harder than Macy when they had to give her a catheter. Be grateful you didn't have to witness that lovely experience! Hopefully, these past few weeks will help the immune system strengthen (in both your boys) and you won't have so much sickness!

It's never fun when your kids are sick, I'd much rather it be me any day.

No way! In my opinion the terrible twos last until...well I don't know yet, I'll let you know when my kids outgrow them. You just have to be grateful that Josh is so cute. It makes the tantrums easier to bear. I'm glad Josh is better now.

Oh the memories I have of you kids in the terrible twos. Good Luck. I hate to tell you this but I don't think anything magical will happen when he turns three. Sorry.

Glad to hear Josh is doing better, but I would be too with Chocolate and Lollipops! And that face that he was making in the bathroom before his bath, was PRICELESS!

What a trooper! He had to go through so much! I'd be glad that dad was the one at the hospital also! Poor guy. Glad he is doing better!
