The Cookie Cabin / Mt. Lemmon

Ryan had this past week off. We were planning on going camping, but Ryan hurt his back carrying around Nathan in his carseat. Also, since Nate is now crawling, we knew it would've been tough. We'll have to wait until Nathan is walking to go again.

Anyway, we had a great week. One of the days, we went up to Mount Lemmon. We had heard all about the "Cookie Cabin", so we joined in on the fun and got ourselves a big ol' peanut butter cookie. The cabin lived up to it's name. It was delish. We also had a picnic lunch, and went on a little hike and took some photos. It was a fun day.

The rest of the week was very relaxing. We had a lot of time at the pool (Nathan now loves his water floatie device), late Rock Band nights, Ryan read 2 books, we had library time, and shopping trips galore. We also saw "Star Trek" and "Monsters Vs. Aliens" Both excellent movies. We went out to eat a few times: Olive Garden and Sauce. Sauce is a pizza parlor with a very thin crust. It kind of tasted like pizza on a cracker. Interesting. Ryan loved it. Me...not so much. But, it was so much fun having him home and he bonded with the boys, which was much needed.

The Giant PB Cookie

This last picture may need an explanation. Next to the Cookie Cabin is a shop called, "The Rainbow House" or something along those lines. It had the most random things in it, including this toy figurine. Can you imagine getting this for your kids to play with? It was just weird.

How fun, isn't it nice to have time as a family?
