I cannot believe that my little baby is almost a toddler. These past 11 months have flown by! I love this little guy so much!Here's a little bit about Nathan at 11 months old!
I'm not sure what he weighs, but he feels about 25 pounds! And he loves to be held ALL THE TIME. I'm pretty sure he's never going to learn how to walk because of this! :)
He gets very frustrated when Joshy and I walk past him because his crawling isn't near fast enough to keep up. Poor thing.
He loves to eat and is eating mostly all table foods now. His favorite is toast with butter. He also enjoys grapes (cut into 1/4ths), and mixed vegetables. Crackers are a must. When he wants more food he says "mamamamamamama" over and over again.
He tries so hard to talk. He babbles/talks gibberish and tries to copy almost everything Joshy says in the same intonation. He can say, "Uh-Oh" very well now, "Mama", "Dada" (I haven't heard this, but Ryan swears it up and down), and makes a "iiiii" sound when he waves (like "hi").
He just started "kinda" standing on his own for like 5 seconds. Hey- it's a start, right? He's not interested in walking yet, and doesn't even like "walking with fingers" unless he's in the right mood. He is very good at walking along furniture and walls.
He loves opening and closing cupboards and likes to put things in other things (like a ball in a box) and drops all the toys out of his crib onto the floor. He is very obedient and when I tell him "no" he stops and does something else (not a trait Joshy inherited!)
He is such a happy little guy and his smile has widened within the last month. I think he is such a handsome devil! He has grown 2 more teeth this last week (now has 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom) and currently has a little cold.
We moved him in Joshy's room and now they go to bed a little later and get up a little earlier, but the transition has gone quite well and Josh loves having a buddy in there to wake up to. Nate likes it most of the time, too.
I can't believe Nate will be 1 in 2 weeks! I love that kid!

Man! I remember when you still lived here and you were pregnant and that seems like just last week! Time sure does fly! But you're right....he sure is a handsome little guy!!
Holly is right! Time does fly! How could he be that grown up! He is cute!
And,,, you finally have your office back!!! Hooray! Wow Kim, it's been two months since I've left and there are so many changes with your baby. How fun!

Happy Birthday Nathan! My how you've grown since I saw you exactly one year ago in the NICU. It was so nice getting to know you this summer.
Can't wait until your daddy finishes residency and you are all in Utah!
