Nay-Nay is 17 months old!

Nathan is just about 17 months old. I can honestly say that time has gone by very quickly with this little one. I love him so much.

Nathan now loves books. I would say it's his most favorite thing to do. He gets so excited to bring a book over to us, sit down on our lap, and enjoy the same stories over and over and over and over again. It is such a relief! It took him a lot longer than Josh to fall in love with reading. If we would, he would like to be read to all day long. No doubt.

Nathan is still a very good eater. He will eat just about anything we put on his tray (except mashed potatoes & eggs...) He has a healthy appetite & especially loves anything sweet (chocolate!)

He is learning new words all of the time. His favorites are definitely apple, ball, and fishy. We hear these all day long. He calls Elmo "Uh-Oh" and trees apples" ever since we found a book with an apple tree in it. He loves to poke you in the eye and says "eyes". And every vehicle is a "choo-choo". When he plays peek-a-boo, he takes the blanket off of his head and says, "poo-poo" (also when we change his diaper...)

Nathan and Joshy are getting along pretty well these days. Nathan is definitely the one that is meaner than Josh. He is caught pushing him away a lot when he solely wants my attention. And when he is scolded, he falls down flat on his back (sometimes hitting his head on the way down) and frowns. Occasionally a cry will come, too, but mostly he just hides his face in shame. It breaks my heart, but is hilarious at the same time.

He also continues to love being held. Especially when I'm away. Most babysitters of caretakers (at my gym) hold him almost the entire time. He is very sensitive, which he has in common with his older brother.

He is trying to learn his alphabet, but doesn't quite get it yet, so he just says all of them that he knows (D, Q, A, E...etc) every time he sees a letter.

He's so cute. I'm glad he's ours.

This is a picture of a tantrum (after I said no to him about something...)

So handsome!!

It's so cute when they start picking up little personality traits at such a young age! He is looking so old with his hair.
