Madelyn Alice Porter was born on July 1, 2011 at 6:33 pm by c-section. She was 7 pounds, 8 ounces. My biggest baby! I was in induced labor for over 36 hours when Maddie's head tilted to the right and was no longer straight on. She was also facing upward, which tends to be dangerous, so we decided to do a c-section. I wasn't thrilled, but just wanted my healthy baby to have a safe entrance into the world. I am so happy with my decision and don't regret it a bit. We were happy to have her join the Porter clan! She's as cute as a button and I love having a daughter!! My boys love her as well. Especially Josh. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Porter for taking care of me and my boys!
