A Fun Day

Ryan and I got to watch sweet little Natalie this morning while her mom had a meeting and her dad went to school. We went to the Carver Recreation Center (free!) and played outside on the playground, the tumbling room, and the open gym. These kids have so much fun together and this is a great and safe place for them to get all their energy out!

"Driving" the bus (glad there's 2 steering wheels!)
Ryan swinging Joshua around in circles. This kid loves to be spun!
We bought Josh 2 swords the other day. He is always wanting to have a "sword fight" so we thought we'd buy him nerf swords that are much safer much than hangers, sticks, and vacuum pipes. Needless to say that he LOVES them.
Here is Ryan trying to teach Josh how to throw a frisbee....maybe in a few more years he'll get it!
Josh and Natalie love jumping on these mats. Just before this picture was taken they were playing "Good Morning....night, night"
Josh loves to hang on this bar---it's probably his favorite activity in the tumbling room.
I know this picture is blurry, but I love how when he landed, his hands were up. It feels like the end of a gymnastics move when they jump and land off the bars. Ta-Da!

Great pictures, I love that they were playing good morning, night night. That's so cute!

I've found that once the kids get to be this age, all the pictures end up blurry because they are always on the run! I LOVE these shots since it shows Josh "in action" which is the way all toddlers are meant to be! We love Carver Rec Center - hopefully we'll catch up with you there this Thursday.
