The appointment went well today. Although it took an hour and 15 minutes, I think I only spent about 15 minutes with actual people (blood drawn, nurses, doctor). Good thing I brought a book and not my son! :) Anyway, my platelet count continues to stay steady (108 today!) and with no problems otherwise. The doctor only suggested that on my airplane trip to Salt Lake, that I take a shot of Lovenox since blood clotting is common among pregnant women on airplane rides. So--that I will do! 1 shot seems like nothing compared to the daily shots for 8 consecutive months last pregnancy. Oh---and I also need to find a Hemo in Tucson soon to get an appointment made up since waiting lists for new patients can be long.
1 week from today we have our ultrasound. As we are anxiously looking forward to finding out the sex of our baby, I continue to ask for your prayers that everything "looks good and healthy" for this sweet little person. That is the most important part of this ultrasound. Although finding out the gender is sure a great perk!
