Josh started Joy School this past week. A group of us (6 teachers, 7 kids) from the ward are participating. I taught first and Joshy was a thorn in my side. All the other kids were awesome. I am hoping that he's good for the next teacher (good luck, Carol!) and he was just a brat because I was the one teaching. We shall see. I am looking forward to my break from him, though. I love him, but that kid is work!
We tried potty training and he succesfully went (#1) 3 times (and once in the Bumbo that he calls his potty!) But it was hard...so much work for me...that I'm post-poning it. Ryan is working so many hours and with Joy School starting...it is just the wrong timing. But he sure did like getting candy....

Nathan is getting so big! Cute boys! Good luck with Joy School!
I think potty training is my least favorite parent responsibility. I really think you should be able to hire someone to come in and do it. And boys are just hard. Just this week Dillon has actually started telling us that he needs to poop instead of holding it in for days until we make him go. So it's kind of a long road, not to discourage you or anything! Keep the updates coming!
Your new family pictures look great. It sounds like things are going well with your family. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and happy new year.
Your boys are so cute! I especially like that last picture of them together. It reminds me of that youtube clip "Charlie bit me". So cute!
Did your MOM make the map? I would love to learn more about that...pattern, where to buy it, how it is put together? Please e-mail me! twsorensen@gmail.com
THANKS ;)
I hear you on the potty training front. I detest it! After a failed attempt w/ our 3 year old we started again last week. I finally gave into the bribery side (it was too much work to bribe--I just wanted him to go!) and it's been working a lot better. Good luck...I feel for you : )
Sam recently started going potty on the real potty, but I don't think it will last forever. He does it most of the time. Your kids are cute.
I love these pics of your kids. Especially the one of Josh with the map in the back.
