Nathan - 4 months old!

I can't believe that he is 4 months old already! He is turning into such a big boy! Here's his stats:

weight: 15 pounds (50%)
height: 25.5 inches (50%)

Nate's milestones for the month include laughing out loud (a favorite), tracking objects, doing a "mini-pushup", reaching & grasping objects and putting them to his mouth, and turning towards mommy's voice. He seems to have no desire to roll over! Lazy bones.

I'm putting off rice cereal and other solids for another month or so. Once you start...it never ends. And he's sending me no signs of wanting to try food yet. I feel like we force Josh when he wasn't ready and I don't want to do that to Nate.

He is still an awesome sleeper. Sometimes he'll go up to 14.5 hours in a row without waking up. It is usually 10 hours, eat, then he'll go back to sleep for another 2 to 5 hours. He isn't much of a napper, though. He tends to take cat naps in his car seat or while he's in the baby bjorn. Then when I try to put him in his crib, he'll wake up. But I still feel lucky to have a good night sleeper.

He LOVES watching Joshy. And Joshy LOVES entertaining him. Joshy talks "baby" to him and Nathan smiles and laughs. Josh really likes holding him in his lap now (with mommy's help), getting me diapers, a bottle, burp cloth, or binky to help me out. He's a great big brother and helper. I still have to watch closely, though, to make sure he doesn't hurt him.

All-in-all Nathan seems to be healthy and continues to grow! I can't believe he could be crawling soon...Nathan seems to be growing up quicker than Josh did. Time is flying!
