The Sunday that we hung out in Herriman, there was a HUGE fire on the mountain. When we first saw the smoke, it was around 2:00. The sun was bright fire red. You can see it in the picture below.
Then at the BBQ around 5:00, you could start to see the flames.

It was pretty scary. Many people were evacuated from their homes (thank goodness only 2 houses burnt down). It was the Top Story on the news that night. We felt kinda special that we were there to witness it.
